OshKosh B'Gosh is a subsidiary of the publicly traded company Carter's. The company is named after the city where it was founded and is still headquartered to this day–Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The company was founded in 1895 to manufacture workwear for adults, but quickly became famous for producing children's overalls. Over the years, children's clothing gradually outsold the adult apparel, and by the 1990s, OshKosh B'gosh became solely a retailer of children's apparel. Today, you can purchase OshKosh B'Gosh apparel and accessories for kids, toddlers and babies at more than 175 company-owned stores, in department stores and at the website Oshkosh.com.
