Founded in 1988, the corporation is based in Milpitas, California and sells products at more than 260,000 stores in over 100 countries. SanDisk also sells their products online direct to consumers and businesses. The company is perhaps best well-known for their memory cards and has a wide range of sizes and types available. In addition, SanDisk produces solid state drives, flash drives, USB drives and embedded storage solutions. The ultra popular Sansa line of video and music players is also produced by SanDisk.
