Web Watcher is a line of software that was created by the private American company Awareness Technologies. The software line debuted in 2002 and was originally designed exclusively for counter-terrorism for law enforcement agencies. Since then, the product line has expanded and shifted to consumer software development. All of the products are available for purchase at Webwatcher.com and are designed to allow parents to monitor their children's activities online. There are versions of Web Watcher available for personal computers installed with Windows versions XP and later or Mac OS X version Snow Leopard and later. In addition, parents can download Web Watcher for use on a variety of Android, BlackBerry and iPhone devices.
